Specialising in Atmos clocks
Atmos is a brand of mechanical torsion pendulum clock. Manufactured by the Swiss manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre, these fabulous timepieces use changes in temperature and atmospheric pressure to provide the power to energise the clock, allowing them to run for years without being wound and needing service almost perpetual motion.
With such an intricate and unusual mechanism at their heart, Atmos clocks require more specialised knowledge and experience than most other clocks. I have been fascinated by them for all a long time and have spent a lot of time learning everything I can about them.
